Unloved
Bladet Tromsų, 2004-12-03
| | Good single from Lind
Espen Lind has been a teen idol and a king of pop. His new single is an emotional jewel which will be a hit in most homes.
We are talking about a ballad which shows that Espen Lind should be respected as a musician. He's a multitalent who is showing of a spectacular singing performance.
Unloved is four minutes of pain – and not too different from the hit “When Susannah Cries” from the success album “Red”. “Unloved” is just even slower – and he has replaced electric guitar and drums with piano and a string band.
Since the last time Espen Lind was in the spot light, he has written hit songs to practically the entire coming generation. Finally he is ready to release songs himself, and not just supplying hits to others.
If “Unloved“ is representative for his coming album, we can expect a slower Espen Lind than we’ve been used to. | |
